  1. Step 1
    Make the soffrito by processing celery, carrot, onion, garlic to a fine chop, enough to hide from kids, but not a pulp.

  1. Step 2
    Sautee soffrito in olive oil

  1. Step 3
    Add pork mince, brown, pinch of salt and pepper

  1. Step 4
    Once the prok mince is brown and liquid evaporated, add beef mince and do the same

  1. Step 5
    Add tomato paste and stir through evenly

  1. Step 6
    Add wine, herbs, can of tomatoes, crumbled bullion cubes, stock and simmer for 20 minutes

  1. Step 7
    Once the consistency is thick but not dry, add a dash of milk.
